If there is any nation in the history of religion that has gotten an international, supernatural, boundless religious recognition, it is Israel. The holy book calls them 'Israel of God's that is to say, 'Israel that belong to God'.

This is what the country Israel is known for. Whenever Israel is mentioned, any Christian around would remember his Bible, because we first heard of Israel from it. Among all the stories we were told, one of the histories covered in the Bible is of the promise of a land that overflows with milk and honey, to a nation that God chose out of the whole world.

As promised, he gave them the land, even though it was not a child's play, it took them scores of years of sufferings, murmurings, rise and fall, warring, captivities and so on.

Not until it pleased their God to take them home. From then henceforth, their land has been blessed and caused to prosper.

Among all the nations of the world, agriculture in Israel remains in the top list as their agricultural technology has provided opportunities to advance and curtail many strenuous human labour.

To some point, Israelis were often invited to other countries to come and show their farmers the skillful know-how of farming.

Basically, Israel is known for its vertical system of farming, where all the lines are vertical with a considerable space between two hedges. The free space between is the walking space.

This is one of their technologies in agriculture. Using sensors to check the growth, development, seed size, growth and dimension and a lot of others.

In this vein, Israel has been mixing nature with technology in farming and that is why these systems have been achievable. They technologically modify tomato species till they get their desired quality.

Gov Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel has advised the new Commissioner of Police, Amiengheme Andrew, to carry out his duties with fairness without political and illegal interference, insisting that as a Governor he will not send him on an illegal errand.

Governor Emmanuel stated this when the new Police Commissioner visited him at Government House, Uyo.

“Let me say this that as you are here, I will never ask you to do anything illegal for me. I have never asked for injustice against mankind. It’s something against my life principles” he said.

The Governor however assured of a good working relationship with the Police authority and other security agencies in the State for effective security of the State.

Emmanuel maintained that when a government and people work with the security agents without asking for any illegality such society will always experience peace and harmony.

“I want to first of all welcome you and let me register sincerely on behalf of the entire Exco and citizens of this State and our utmost thanks to members of your team”.

He promised his administration’s zeal to support the command noting that Akwa Ibom State is a very serene State to work in.

The new Commissioner of police, Mr. Amiengheme Andrew, in his address, stated that he hoped to give the citizens a sense of security and stamp out all forms of criminality in the State.

“My primary aim as I’m being posted to this Command is to make sure the citizens of Akwa Ibom State sleep well. There will be zero tolerance for any forms of criminality no matter how small or big. It will not be tolerated”.

He expressed gratitude for the reception accorded him in the state and solicited for the cooperation of citizens with officers of the Force maintaining that security is everybody’s business.

  • Ray Hushpuppi

  Let me open the curtain on self-proclaimed Instagram billionaire Ray Hushpuppi. While he may not have fallen, if convicted, he could spend the next two decades behind bars. Spending 20 years in prison isn't a big deal if you still have your millions (in dollars) after the service, but the review might be the case here.

  For Raymond Igbalodely who has traveled the world on private jets, stayed in the best hotels in the world and lived in Dubai for many years, getting out of jail with nothing will be something he never expected.

  • Invictus Obi

  Invictus Obi is another young Nigerian who became a billionaire before the age of 30. He held a very noble status before he was captured. He was a successful businessman by day and a billionaire con man by night.

  Forbes in 2016 hailed Obinwanne Okeke, CEO of the Invictus Group, as one of the 30 most promising African entrepreneurs under 30.

  In June 2020, Okeke pleaded guilty to computer fraud that caused his victims $ 11 million. Mentioning the probable punishment for his crime, the US Department said it "faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison", while the sentence would be "October 22".

  • Emmanuel Nwude

  Emmanuel Nwude is a former director of the Union Bank of Nigeria known for defrauding Nelson Sakaguchi, director of the Sao Paulo-based Northwest Bank of Brazil, of $ 242 million: $ 191 million in cash and the rest in the form of exceptional interest, including 1995 and 1998. The crime was the third largest in banking history.

  Hope Olusegun Aroke, popularly known as H-money, is another big Nigerian guy who is currently behind bars for crimes amounting to millions of dollars. One shocking thing about him was that even while serving a 24-year prison sentence, he was allegedly capable of plotting a "mega scam" of nearly $ 1.5 million.

  He used the fictional name "Akinwwunmi Sorinmade" to open at least two bank accounts and purchase a luxury car, a 2018 Lexus RX 350 and houses during his time in prison. He was also in possession of his wife's bank account file in prison, which he used to transfer funds freely.

  • Otunba Cash

  Emanuel Aneke, popularly known as Otunba Cash and his 8-man gang were arrested in Istanbul, Turkey on Friday 25 October 2018 in connection with a $ 1.4 million email scam committed in Denmark.

  Otunba Cash, who is the CEO of Istanbul Entertainment, a Turkish-based lifestyle and event management company, may be serving in the next few years in a prison off the coast of Nigeria.

  They are not all, there are still dozens, if not hundreds, of Nigerians being prosecuted for cases involving crimes off the country's coast.

Even the Bible recorded that Jesus Christ, the savior of the world was given birth to in Bethlehem. Chapter 1 of Matthew's Gospel recounts Jesus's Birth and naming and the beginning of chapter 2 reveals that Jesus was born in Bethlehem during the time of Herod the Great.

However, we can't specifically say the amount of years it has been now, all we know is that it happened a very long time ago.

As we can see, Bethlehem is now a well developed and beautiful place. Although we really can't tell how Bethlehem looked like during the birth of Jesus Christ, what we're sure of is that there was no technology, or much development during that time.

Bethlehem had a long history even before it became known as the site of Jesus Christ's birth. Now it sits at the heart of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. It's a really nice place to be.
