The great Wall is a symbol of the dauntless indomitable of of the Chinese nationa and a crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese people in ancient times.. during the cold weapon ... It was a comprehensive defense work.. and.in modern times.. it is a tourist attraction that draw a constant stream of adventurous explorers,, sightseers, and those who cherish the pass 

The great Wall extend five thousand kilometers from East to West in the north China like a giant dragon wriggling it's way across desert, grassland and mountain. To either head of state or ordinary people from every part of the world,, it being a wonder in the history of  world architecture stands high as the irrisistible   allurement.. many of it's section and passes have been designated  by the Chinese government as key nation's cultural sites.. in  1987 the great Wall was inscribed in the list of the world cultural heritage by the UNESCO

IT took more than two millennia for the great Wall to be completed begin from the the seventh century BC, that is during the spring and Autumn and  Warring states period,,

When the Duke -Chu, Wei, han, Yan win, Zhao- constructed wall round their territories for self defense.. In 221BC, after emperor Qinshihuang unified China, he had the defense wall of Qin, Yan and Zhao linked and new section added so that the great Wall became a5, 0000km, affairs. Later dynasties continue to build on the great Wall to ward invasion by the northern  nomads. However the defensive wall build in different places and during different period were not on the same line. The great Wall continue to grow in length during the Quin(221-206BC);Han (206BC-220) and Ming (136861644) dynasties. The wall  as we see today was mostly built  during the Ming Dynasties until it reached an awesome length of 5,660kilometres , starting from Shanghai pass in the east to jiayu pass in the west by way of Hebei, Beijing, shanxi , inner Mongolian,Ningxia shanxi and Gansu 

In terms of designing and construction, the great Wall was a paragon of the resourcefulness of Chinese strategies and builders,, passes were built at a place of strategies importance. Construction was carried out in line with local condition and was drawing on local resources so that knotty construction could be solved without compromising the great Wall defensive formidability.

The wall hugs the conturs of the terrain , and as it climb up and down the mountain, It  keep changing in the heights and width and building materials,

Gate tower are built atop the wall for guarding and lodging purpose, passes are found at spots of vital strategic importance and signal tower are set at interval so that smoke or fire signals were related to army command in Beijing in time of emergency.

The great Wall,, monumental landmark built by the Chinese of deferent ethnic background has long fulfill it histrionically mission

Today it stands as a precious witness to the history and it's value in culture,art, architecture and tourism' seems to be multiplying.

Spring comes and goes constant and several centuries seem to have passed in the twinkling of an eye 

Those who have been to the Great Wall never fail to be captivated, encourage and inspire by it's splendour and charms as a masterpiece of man's great creative

The Great Wall belongs to all those in this world who loves it
